Blown OUt my mIND!

If you see this post, that means I posted it even though its after my flat ironed harir post.

And you probably think I'm crazy for putting so much heat on my hair. BUT! My flat ironed post, should you chose to watch the video, was actually from February and was listed as a draft so i just published.  

But since then, I haven't flat ironed my hair.. 

And this is the first time that I used the dryer on high heat and without my diffuser to blow dry my hair since then.

 I colored my hair the beginning of April, and my hair color has started to grow out... 

I'm just tempted not to color again.  

The last picture is hair that I trimed because I like my hair being even, so if it's not.. I cut it. 

Curli Girl Gone Straight..

So I finally went ahead and joined the masses.



Straight hair.

But not for long tho, because unlike the masses.. if I were to put any type of water or moisture to this bad boy.. my hair will be once again kinky and curly.

Who said curli gurls can't wear their hair straight?

I trusted my coif with the beautician in a Dominican hair salon.

She did a pretty good job.  I'll definitely go back to her for another blowout and flat iron.

Snap, Crackle, POP!!

So many bloggers are doing this look. A rainbow of colors underneath some crackling polish. The idea and effect are nice.  I honestly forgot which one of the many talented bloggers I follow did this, but if I remember I will definitely update this post.

Gotta Love the Eighties!!

So I was growing through some old photos that were taken in the late 70s and in the 80s and I  was inspired to do some nail art that kinda matched.

It's a fun look and it really did remind me of the 80s. 

I'm talking in past tense because I am about to take this polish off and change to something else.  I actually change my polish more than I post about. 

Sometimes I change it twice in the same day. 

My Poor Baby!

Yes, I'm talking about my HAIR!!

For the past week and a half I've been really lazy when it comes to my hair.
I'm talking super lazy. 
I haven't combed or styled it really.  I left it in an afro state and when I went to wash my hair last night before bed, it had so many knots in it I almost cried.  My hair was tangled and coming out.  It was truly a disgrace. 
I can't believe that I let my hair go like that.

I've been wearing my hair out for sometime now and I think its about time that I get something done to it.  I may do a bond-in, or a sew-in. 

I really don't want to have to deal with my hair anymore!

Sculptured Nails it is!

So for those of you who don't know, I'm trying to grow my nails but it is really hard considering that I do A LOT of work with them.

I was dishes every day.  I mop house, I wash them a lot, so they are forever soaked in water and not to mention a lot of yard work is done with them.. They take a beating, DAiLY. But I'm trying I'm trying.
I have even started using gloves, RELIGIOUSLY!

So I have seen this little trick around the blog community for a while now.
I FINALLY got a chance to try it so i jumped on it!

Originally, I purchased Orly's Pure Porcelain because it's color would look great with news pint, but this design was spur of the moment.
I was actually going to use a Bundle Monster image plate to stamp with, but I couldn't decide on which design to use.

So i am honestly considering being on a NO BUY for at least two months.
