Project 365 Day 3 Orange & Yellow not Black & Yellow

This b uilding stood out to me... the color scheme was super bright.  I made he colors pop using Photoshop CS5.  Don't think I did a too shabby job. This was taken while I was driving in the car. Well, I wasn't the person driving.

Anti- Valentine's day feat. Silent Treatment

As big a romantic day that Valentine's Day can be, I know more than a handful of people who really despise the day.

There are quite a few legends around the actually history of why the day is honored, but one of the most popular would have to be about St. Valentine, who was a priest in Rome in 249 A.D. He is believed to have performed the marriage ceremony for young lovers even after marriages and engagements were cancelled by Emperor Claudius. When the emperor found out what he had been doing he imprisoned the priest...

so on and so forth.. thus we have the day.

You didn't REALLY think that i was going to sit here and tell you that bedtime story, did you?

On with our real business here.

here is the look that I came up with using Wet n Wild trio in 'Silent Treatment'

The colors blend well and the texture is very smooth, there is a little fallout, but nothing that some good old translucent powder can't fix.

Day 2: Project 365:: Birds of a feather flock together (late)

Ever hear that age old saying?

I think about it and wonder if its even true.

I tend to try and make friends who are different from me.. though we will still have some things in common. I wonder if bluejays will hang out with Pigeons.

PLL 15: If At First You Don't Succeed, Lie, Lie Again

Aria is hung up on the picture they were sent because she figures out that it has to be taken by someone high up and in Alison’s house from the angle. They believe that the photographer could have been her brother. The girls find out that Alison’s brother is back in town and Spencer decides to confront him. She asked him why he was back and he tried to apologize about his behavior towards them during the time they were planning the memorial for Alison.Hanna’s mother has an unexpected meeting with the client that she ‘borrowed’ the money from. She is on edge about what may happen at the meeting considering the fact that it was an unauthorized loan. Spencer scores Aria tickets to a museum show that her dad doesn’t use. Aria plans on taking Ezra [Mr. Fitz] to the show and he agrees to go. The only way Hanna will be able to get the money is to rat out Aria by giving her mom a ticket to the show that Aria and Ezra will be attending. Will Hanna take the bait? Hanna comes home to find her mom sitting in the dark with tears. She knows that the only way to end her mom’s crying is to snitch on Aria. Emily is getting a hard time from the current team captain of the swimming team, Paige. Emily has been breaking records because she is back into putting her all into the swimming team since she feels like Maya has moved on. Aria invites Hanna to get a manicure and pedicure but Hanna declines and tries to discourage Aria from going out with Ezra later on tonight. Emily’s friends are ready to pounce on Paige for saying the rude comments about Emily being a lesbian. Hanna left an anonymous envelope, with the ticket to the same show Aria is going to, on Ella Montgomery’s desk. But after she realizes what is done, she is too late because class is dismissed and she can’t get the envelope back because her P.E. teacher wants her for detention. Aria is dressed and ready to go and Ezra rented a limo for their first actual date. Aria’s mom was supposed to be on her way to the same art show but her car mysteriously wouldn’t start and she ends up missing the art show. So Aria and Ezra won’t get busted. The coach called Emily and Paige were called to a meeting. The meeting was about Paige’s comment towards Emily about her being a lesbian but Emily told the coach that it was a little misunderstanding that they already worked out. Jason [Alison’s brother] leaks out information to Spencer about Ian that no one ever knew. Ian, the supposed poster boy tri-athlete, was actually a party boy and was getting high and partying with Jason the summer that Alison was killed. Spencer and Emily are going to the bead shop to see if the same person that ordered that the bracelet that had Alison’s name is the same person that ordered Jenna’s bracelet. Aria’s dad is going to drop Aria’s mom to the art show since the car broke down but the artist didn’t show up for the showcase. When Ella was saying goodbye she leaned in for a kiss to her husband, though separated, and they started kissing. Looks like Aria is saved again because her mom and dad are preoccupied with each other. Ms. Potter [Hanna’s mom’s client] died from a heart attack in the hospital. Even though it was sad, Hanna and her mom felt relieved. Now they don’t have to worry about Ms. Potter finding out the money was missing.
The two bracelets were purchased by someone pretending to be Spencer Hastings. The look on Spencer’s face when she found out was to die for.
Hanna was about to confess for getting Aria in trouble but she didn’t because she was interrupted by Aria saying how much their first date was great. So Hanna doesn’t have to confess anymore.
Paige was upset about the lineup for the swimming team and decided to pay Emily a visit. While Emily was in the water, Paige held her head down under the water. Hanna was surprised to find out that Aria's mom didn't get to the showcase,but the 'New Kid" at the school is the one who cut off the kill switch in Aria's mom's car which is the reason why she didnt get to go to the showcase.

PLL 14: Careful What U Wish 4

This episode of Pretty Little Liars starts off with a mini recap of the video that the girls received. The girls have decided to give the police the video that was sent to them by the mysterious ‘A’. But it seems like Spencer is getting cold feet. Aria’s mom surprises her with Simone, an old friend. Aria’s mom mentions to Simone that Mr. Fitz (Ezra) is single and had set a date with him for Simone. Aria could only look on in disbelief but wasn’t really trying to show it since no one knows of her little tryst with Ezra. Emily can’t seem to get through the tough security of the “prison” that Maya is being held at. So Hanna suggests that she talks to the new kid at the school who already has a reputation for hooking up phones. When they actually decide to go to the police, Hanna notices that the Spencer’s playlist is online even though Spencer’s laptop is supposed to be in her bag. When she looked, it wasn’t there and had been replaced by a yearbook. Someone had gotten into her bag, more than likely during P.E. and the girls are now on the edge. Emily puts a rush on the unlocking of her phone for a price of forty dollars on top of what she already gave him. Hanna tries to get a job but was unable to because her mom owed the place way too much money. Spencer confronts Ian about her laptop but he says he hasn’t seen it. She also learns that he will be chaperoning the dance tonight. Emily sees Ian lock up a briefcase in a drawer before he heads out to the dance in the gym. The girls made up their mind to break into the drawer to see exactly what Ian wants to keep under wraps. Both Aria’s mom and dad are chaperoning and were actually civil when face to face. Unfortunately for Aria, Ezra and Simone had a nice lunch date and Simone showed up to the dance to be with him since he had to chaperone. Emily finally got her phone so that she could call May. Hanna received a text from ‘A’ letting her know that for every dance with Lucas, she can receive 200.00 from the money that was taken from her house. Emily didn’t like the vibe that she was getting from Maya over the phone and felt bad. She thinks that maybe Maya has moved on. Aria walked in on Ezra and Simone having a conversation and was able to get Ian’s keys from out of his jacket by lying and saying that it belonged to her father. Emily gets wasted and ends up crashing at Spencer’s. Aria confronts Ezra about Simone, and tries to make it seem like he is falling for her. Ezra stands up for himself by declaring to her his love for her. Hanna stopped Emily from drunk dialing Maya. Spencer’s laptop mysteriously appears in her living room and the video was no longer there, and the trash had been emptied. What was on the laptop was a picture of Alison, in the clothes she was wearing the night she was killed and it had a little note on it saying “ Watch your backs, I didin’t. –A”. The episode ends with Arai’s mom giving someone their jacket and gloves, both black and patent leather. She is looking directly at the person but unfortunately we are unable to see who it is she is looking at because we are looking at her from the person’s point of view. So much for getting ahead.
Well, we can only wait for next week’s episode.

Project 365:: Day 1:: Life of A Bald Tree

Sometimes I feel like there isn't anyone else in the world who feels like me. They pass me by everyday with their happy go lucky lives. Going to class, coming from class and not one of them every stop to ask me if I'm ok. Don't they think that I have feelings?? I am a bald-leave tree. Even my own mother has disowned me. But recently I have begun to have some company, though it isn't the company I would like to have, beggars can't necessarily be choosers. Birds. Flippin' BIRDS!! The have started to make a nest in my branches, and even starting decorating with one measly flower. Better than nothing right? WRONG!! Totally wrong!! Because even they don't talk to me. Go ahead, laugh at me today. But I'll show you. You'll see. After this season, I'll growm my leaves back... and then I'll have the LAST laugh PWAh hahahahaha

PLL Ep. 13 "Know Your Frenemies"

Just in case you weren't a;ready up to date,ABC's Pretty Little Liars is by far one of the most talked about shows and the drama continues....

On this week's show::

Spencer's curiosity about Ian and Alison's getaway to Hilton Head led her to give the hotel a call to confirm her suspicions. Toby is still the lead suspect in Alison's death and is still the "freak" on the show. Noel thought he could threaten/talk Mr.Fitz ( or as Aria calls him, Ezra) into giving him a passing grade on the paper so that he is able to play in the upcoming game The mysterious 'A', whom the girls believe is actually Noel, decided to humiliate Hanna by blackmailing her into eating six piggy cupcakes in one sitting, only to not deliver what she was expecting back--- the money that was stolen from her kitchen cabinet. she did however get a few hundred dollar bills back. Toby feels very horrible, even being shunned by little kids walking on the street. Emily's mom made Maya feel especially uncomfortable causing Maya to leave in a hurry and forget her bag. Mrs. Fields took the liberty of going through Maya's bag and found drugs and returned the bag to Maya's parents and forbids Emily from seeing her again. But Emily gets her own two sense in by letting her mom know that her feelings for Maya won't change. Noel doesn't get his passing grade on the paper, so he decides to tell the principal about Mr.Fitz and Aria's little tryst. Melissa and Ian are trying to have a baby and Spencer was told to keep it a secret. And Spencer believes that Melissa is being manipulated by Ian. Maya got sent away to juvenile camp because of the drugs and Emily is torn up about it. As Mr. Fitz prepared fro what he thought was his final day oof teaching, Noel gets into trouble efor having the answers to the midterm and the principal decides he can never again trust Noel. Looks like 'A' can be a saint when he/she really wants to, saving Mr. Fitz like that. While the girls were going on a useless search through Ian's things, they get yet another message from 'A' telling them to look on Spencer's computer.. They find a video which they had partially seen before but the video actually played out to the end. it shows Alison talking into the camera, and then the camera gets turned onto the person that she is talking to, which is Ian. After a few shakes of the camera and squealing from Alison, she falls to the floor, with what looks like a lifeless body. So now the girls know who is Alison's killer, but what we don't know is what will happen next.

As usual, the show ends leaving us on the edge of our seats and I definitely can not wait until the next epsiode.

As most of you may already know, MAC has released their holiday collections. These collection are definitely worth buying.
